Date: Wednesday, 15 October 2008
Location: BT Convention Centre, Liverpool
Time: 12:30 to 17:15
Following on from the great success for Team GB at the Beijing
Olympics the Annual Northwest 2012 Conference provides an
opportunity to find out what is happening in the Northwest to
maximise the benefits of the 2012 Games and how organisations can
get involved in helping to deliver a tangible legacy within the
region.
This conference will particularly showcase the region's
achievements to date and outline the programmes that will be
delivered over the next 12 months. The conference will also provide
an opportunity to celebrate the success and be inspired by our
Northwest Olympians and Paralympians from Beijing. Speakers for the
day include:
- Beverly Hughes MP, Minister of State and Minister for the North
West
- Paul Deighton, Chief Executive of the London Organising
Committee for the 2012 Games

Trust
