This year's Annual Conference and AGM will highlight some of the year's key achievements, as well as the Agency's response to the downturn and how additional NWDA business finance products are benefiting the region's businesses. Chief Executive Steven Broomhead will present an overview of some of the key work undertaken by the Agency and its partners during the year. Event host Jim Hancock will also interview the NWDA's new Chairman, Robert Hough, on the region's future challenges and priorities and there will also be an opportunity to pose questions to the Agency's Board. A separate event will be taking place in the afternoon to launch the Northwest Manufacturing Strategy, a new framework to support the ongoing growth of the 'modern' manufacturing sector and tackle the challenges facing the sector due to the economic downturn.
