Supplying the NWDA
When the NWDA needs goods and services, we follow our Procurement Policy to ensure the
most suitable supplier is selected, who:
- Is technically and commercially capable
- Is financially sound
- Is keenest to obtain and agree a contract on best value for
money terms
- Will execute the contract efficiently
We are obliged to comply with national and European Commission
legal requirements, including making sure that our supplier
decisions do not discriminate on the grounds of nationality -
directly or indirectly – and that no measures restrict the free
movement of goods or services.
The NWDA has also signed up to the Prompt Payment Code and we
encourage other businesses to do this same.
